November 19, Year 2 | When I saw that Botan was offering Vanillite eggs among a truly astounding number (and for free!), I had to take one for myself. Vanillite is yet another Pokémon that, like Trubbish, has taken to imitating a man-made object. In this case a Vanillite's icy body collects powdery snow on top that gives it the appearance of an ice cream cone! I can't imagine what the practical benefits of this camouflage might be; surely they don't want to be eaten? Perhaps observation will clear up the matter.
November 25, Year 2 | My Vanillite hatched today. I have given her the name Mellorine after another variety of fake ice cream. Thus-far she has proven be well-behaved and friendly.
