17 March, Year 2 | My second visit to the Ruins has thus-far been even more eventful than the first. I came back to base camp after a long session of sketching to find this young lady eagerly investigating my belongings. While I have no Psychic types with me currently and thus we had to resort to a long back-and-forth of charades, I managed to glean that she remembers her past life as a human and is eager to experience life as a Pokémon outside of the Ruins. I get the impression she sees it as something of a second chance, which is an incredibly optimistic outlook on things. Thanks to the easily-available letter symbols on literally every wall she was able to communicate basic information to me via indicating letters. It was in this way I learned her name: Mallory.
