September 28, Year 2 | Since May I have wanted to have a Type: Null of my own. Synthetic Pokemon are among those that interest me most, so I would be remiss in not obtaining one for study. Silph Co. has warned that this model may experience glitches given its new and relatively-untested state, and this has been reflected already in the Type: Null given to other trainers. Some have even said it is inhumane to create Pokemon in this manner and that it is cruel to subject them to the possibility of living with a glitch, but I strongly disagree. To say that a being has no right to exist simply because of a small imperfection is short-sighed at best and indicative of a far greater personality problem at worst. Each Type: Null is created for a trainer who wants to care for it and who accepts the responsibility of dealing with its unique quirks and so I fail to see the issue. MIPS will enjoy itself far more out traveling the world than it might in a lab.
November 1, Year 2 | Today MIPS was instrumental in my battle and victory against Brock for the Boulder Badge. It has taken well to training and seems excited in battles; in fact it was so excited that it nearly ascended right through the ceiling, though luckily it was able to control itself. It has made progress on its intangibility issues and now chooses to spend most of its time without a solid form, though sometimes it does still swap accidentally. Nonetheless I am proud of both its progress on integrating enthusiastically into greater Pokémon society and mastering its own Ghost typing.
