January 31, Year 2 | I was not expecting to take in another difficult case so soon, but Elsa confided in me that she was having difficulties with her Steenee and when I suggested finding a more suitable trainer she took it to mean that I was volunteering. Of course considering the work I had to do with Scylla to address her attitude problems I think I am more than equipped. Between Eostre and Josef I will have my work cut out for me, especially as they seem to already dislike each other, but that just means I will have to go about this thoughtfully.
February 12, Year 2 | For better or worse, Eostre has evolved. As expected, her personality issues have only been compounded by her evolution. She kicks me whenever she doesn't get her way. She also kicks me whenever she does get her way, presumably just to remind me that she can. As I did with Scylla, I have equipped her with the Soothe Bell in the hopes that it may even out her mood somewhat.
February 22, Year 2 | In the early hours of this morning Elsa and I had a battle, and I sent Eostre out to face the Vulpix I gave her so long ago. She was handily beaten by a well-timed Fire Blast, and I think that taught her a lesson that I couldn't. She has made peace with her old trainer and with her old teammates. She is still self-assured and bratty at times, but I believe this experience has humbled her for the better. I have experienced that enough times to spot it in someone else.
