Oh. This is probably something I missed when I was out of the dimension, isn't it. My niece has been showing me movies to 'catch me up' but horror isn't her genre.

i have another niece named carol and shes 14 and just entered that im 2 cool for uncle hugs stage but i think shes under a lot of stress right now so it could be that too being 14 sucked

My niece and nephew were. For a little while.

Luckily neither of them have quite grown into thinking they're too cool for hugs just yet, though Dipper is getting there now that he's 'officially' a teenager. Looking back on it as a man of seventy it's very endearing to see how much of a hurry they're in to grow up.

I'm glad as well, ultimately. It was nice while it lasted. Though I will say that growing up and getting out are two very different things.

[He's not yet quite comfortable enough with introspection to admit he didn't grow up for decades after he moved out. It's hard to admit you spent a lot of your younger years as an arrogant manchild. But he can kind of skirt around the subject.]
