February 1, Year 2 | I made the mistake of feeding a couple of wild Murkrow in the garden of the bed and breakfast at which Elsa and I are staying, and in the days since then they haven't left me alone. They followed me all around the shopping district and the male even attempted to climb into my bag in search of more snacks. Last night the female tried to open the latch of the window into my room. So today I got their attention with a croissant and presented them with an ultimatum: it is clear they are not going to leave me alone to the point of not allowing me to sleep and damaging my belongings. Obviously that is untenable. So now whenever I go to a café I am obligated to buy an extra pastry, and for the foreseeable future I will have a pair of wild birds tailing me. I feel as though this is perhaps not the most ideal situation, but here we are. February 15, Year 2 | They have followed me all the way from Kanto. I can't imagine how in the world they made the journey so quickly or managed to locate me so easily and yet there they are. Are they that invested in extorting me for food? Is this now a matter of pride for them? I can't possible imagine. Fiddleford thinks they are omens of bad luck, or perhaps bearers of it, but I think they're mostly a nuisance. March 25, Year 2 | It has now been almost two months and these two show no signs of leaving me be. They have followed me all the way from Kanto and across Johto all the way from Ecruteak to the Ruins and back again. I believe the time has finally come to broach the subject of them becoming part of my team officially. We'll see how they take it. March 26, Year 2 | They made me fight them for it. Of course they did, why wouldn't they. Luckily I was able to prove my mettle and now both are safely in my PC for the time being. Finally I won't have to give up half of every pastry I buy!
