February 5, Year 2 | Today I finally hatched the Klefki I obtained so long ago from Newt. She hatched without anything to hold and immediately took a liking to the keychain I have up until now had hanging from my bag for lack of anywhere else to put it. I took her to an antique shop and allowed her to choose one antique key to start her collection, but by the time we were back at the bed and breakfast she had three keys altogether and some other things besides. Most of them appear to be charms of the sort that people (mainly teenagers) hang from their phones and Pokégears. Some feature keys, though all of them are purely decorative. It is my suspicion that she stole them but considering she did so without me even noticing my inclination is to be impressed. Moving forward I will impose stricter boundaries, but today I'm allowing her to keep her ill-gotten goods. It is her birthday, after all.
