September 22, Year 2 | Given that I already have far too many Pokemon to be getting on with, I have made the decision to take in yet another egg. I don't see any flaw with this decision whatsoever, especially given that the egg contains an Oddish. Armin in particular has spoken very highly of the Oddish family and after doing some research on my own I believe his rave reviews have merit to them. Now I have yet another egg to hatch at... some point. I'll find the time. November 6, Year 2 | My Oddish hatched today. When it came to choosing a name, Corpse Flower was really the only choice. He will grow up into a walking rafflesia eventually, after all (though for breeding purposes I cannot actually evolve him until he learns Moonblast, something only Oddish learns naturally). November 25, Year 2 | Today Corpse Flower had his first battle against a trainer. He faced off against a Stunky and soundly trounced it with some well-timed setup and a single Solar Beam. Needless to say I am very pleased with his performance, especially given his shy and retiring behavior outside of battle. I was concerned it may not be something he enjoys but after today I can be confident that is not the case. He merely isn't as boisterous as Claudia or aggressive as Scylla (and truth be told I'm almost glad of that).
