April 26, Year 2 | The Gible egg that I obtained from Bertolt contained even more than I bargained for. I knew the Gible that emerged would be incredibly strong (Bertolt's Dragon Types always are) but I wasn't expecting her to be 'shiny' as well! Despite having no feasible way of knowing that her rare coloration makes her special, it feels as though it's already gone to her head. She is perhaps even more headstrong than Smash Mouth. I have named her Magna after the Magnathorax, a great dragon (supposedly) living in the Bermuda Triangle that I once told Bertolt about.
July 2, Year 2 | Magna is now a fully-evolved Garchomp. She never grew out of her hard-headed nature. Indeed, she's only grown more vain as she's aged. Despite her ego she is focused in battle and friendly outside of it, though she often bites me as a show of affection. I've become used to it and know to simply not make any sudden moves until she lets go, but I wonder if and when she'll learn that my skin is a lot more puncture-prone than hers.
