Certainly he is! All Vulpix are born with a singular tail; they grow the rest as they age. It's perfectly normal.

As for his fur I think he may have inherited his mother's rare color mutation. I had heard that could happen but that the chances were incredibly low. You have a marvel on your hands!

What if they don't grow in? I... The mutation won't do anything weird to him, will it?

Reiner's uh

I saw a friend's Aggron and Reiner's color is different from that one, and he didn't evolve for months even with all of the training I put him through until August. What if that was because of that?

I don't believe so. I have observed several 'shiny' Pokémon and none of them have seemed to be in any kind of distress.

As for your Aggron... my Decidueye spent almost thirty levels longer than he had to as a Dartrix. Some Pokémon simply evolve late for whatever reason. I believe evolution is not merely dependent on level but also to some extent on the maturity and willingness of the Pokémon in question.

I've only ever seen Reiner, Gizem and the ones Jean and Armin have. Outside of Reiner, I've... never actually hatched one before.

I'm still not sure where his egg even came from, but it was when we all got them after prom.

You see? The parts of her fur that ought to be a blood red are a dark purple instead.

...She looks like Askeladd. Only, uh... A lot bigger.

Askeladd would be a Zorua, I assume? Or some other fox-like Pokémon.

Ah, well, you can hardly blame him. That is a very unique trick, it's only natural to want to practice it.

I wonder if he could mimic your Vulpix's unique coloration? That would be something to test.

I wonder if it'd be easier for him, too... I've noticed he keeps his tail when he turns into certain ones.

Or maybe he'd end up with his normal tail giving him away. He almost fooled me when I caught him as Doodle until he turned around and saw it.
