I have. I just left Cerulean myself, so we may be seeing the same swarm.

As far as I'm aware they tend to gather only in Lavender Town, which raises the question of why they've migrated such a distance and in such numbers.

Yes, that was exactly why it initially caught my attention. To see them out and about as they are is rather strange. Ghosts or not, most Pokemon do stick to the same sort of behaviors as far as their preferred territories.

[Perhaps it had something to do with the month..?]

I tried to question a few about it but they were rather quick to speed off.

I wonder if something is disturbing their natural territory? A migration on this scale must be caused by some sort of upset, don't you think?

[Which... the correct way to investigate would be to go to Lavender Town, but he's already super set on Mount Moon and he has a thing he needs to do once he gets there...]

That was one of my first thoughts as well. I--several people here have mentioned migrations happening before but this seems to be rather specific. In terms of species, I mean.

And yes, at least based on what I've seen of both species before. They seem to be rather intent on getting close to people almost as if they have something they are trying to accomplish.
