Had to.
[It's way, way more flippant than he'd say before. At least in text. There's no "I'm sorry", either. And that... he never knows what to do with.]
Had to because we were prisoners.
And then freedom fighters. Kind of hard to go back when you have to save the universe.
Even if you really do just want to look at new kinds of stars all day.
